The Swan Chamber of Commerce's 2025 Business Awards have concluded. With over 40 nominated businesses from around the north-eastern metro corridor of Perth, the event was a resounding success in acknowledging the hard work and dedication of our community's incredible local businesses and talented professionals.

Established in 2023 Manna Wellness brings to the City of Swan and WA a first in Health and Wellbeing industry - combining multi-disciplinary clinical services with movement studios under one roof. Since opening in Guildford, this fledgling business has achieved significant growth responding to community demand, strengthening operational efficiency and expanding strategically, with its second studio recently opened in Darlington. The House of Honey is a truly unique destination, where a passion for bees and their pure, natural honey shines through in everything they do. Visitors are invited to step into the fascinating world of bees - meet the beekeeper, marvel at the live bee display, sample a variety of honeys and check out the stunning range of bee-inspired products. More than just a honey farm, The House of Honey is a celebration of bees - from immersive tours to hands-on workshops and events, they're proudly spreading the buzz about the magic of the hive.

With over 55 years in the construction industry, Executive Director Gerry Hanssen has built more than just buildings, he's built a legacy. Born in the Netherlands, Gerry brought his love of challenge and innovation to Australia, where he founded Hanssen Pty Ltd in 1992. Passionate about training and empowering young people, he developed the unique Hanssen Standard Details, a step-by-step, picture-based guide that simplifies construction. Deeply spiritual and uncompromising in his values, Gerry believes in giving everyone a go and doing the right thing, even when it's hard. His lifelong commitment is to make a lasting difference in the construction industry and beyond.
